I am a Catholic wife and mother. I’m guessing you may be too. At the very least, you’re here because you are Catholic or are considering Catholicism. So let me tell you a little about each of the “buckets” of this site, so that you know if you’re in the right place.

Catholicism. Were you poorly catechized? I sure was. Or maybe you’re a convert. Either way, you’re having to educate yourself on what it means to be an orthodox Catholic in your adult years. That means that most of your education is through books, YouTube apologists, homilies, and perhaps blogs. I have been creating YouTube videos on this very topic for years now, and this blog will be your jumping off point to either answer the question “What IS Catholicism?” or to dive deeper into your faith, so that we can all spend eternity as saints in Heaven together. Because we are all called to be saints.

Vocation of Marriage. I am a married woman with children. That means I have chosen to serve God in a “vocation of marriage.” If you are engaged, married, and/or have children, this will be a place to approach the various topics that come with living this life, being “in the world but not of the world.” From homemaking to marriage advice to parenting and beyond, I hope that I can help you dive deeper into the deep sacrifice that is marriage and family life.

Homeschooling. If you are either a homeschool mom or someone who wants to know more about homeschooling, I’m here to help. Fr. Ripperger once said that if we are blessed with an intellect, it doesn’t mean we go out and work, but it could mean we help others homeschool their children. My personal conviction, and I’ll stand by these words, is that every single mother can homeschool. All homeschools will look different. Most of us have to ignore the social experiment that is formal education in order to have the confidence to teach our children. And of course, they aren’t our children, they’re God’s. He will look after their education. We just need to say “yes” to Him.

Current events. While I believe that most news can be ignored, when it comes to bodily integrity, human dignity, the sanctity of marriage, and other social issues that concern Catholics, I’m paying attention. So here is a place to come if you want to engage with like-minded individuals that have a healthy skepticism of big Pharma, big Tech, big Govt, and big Media.
